Yeah, there can be some big time animus between Pakistanis and Indians. More to the point, between Hindus and Muslims

typically. Sometimes that religious strife happens even within India among the Muslim minority and the Hindu majority. When the British Empire split and India/Pakistan/Bangladesh (called East Pakistan at the time, IIRC) broke out of it, there was a lot of violence between the various religious groups.
