Never heard that. He was a LV kid, right? I do recall
that his parents really liked BYU & pushed him here over a lot of quality Pac offers, so it would make sense that he was indeed Muslim.
Surprised that that detail was left out, though. I followed his recruitment & never remember it being spoken of.
