me why someone would back into a lowered hoop. Prob parked in a garage, opened garage while in car and backed out looking at side mirror like he's done a thousand times without issue and saw the hoop pole in the same place and a clear driveway. I can absolutely see why he can't see a hanging object in that situation. Unfortunate, yes. Homeowner liable, most likely not, but acting like this is just some obvious thing the driver should have avoided isn't fair.
