I think the B12 is considering the move to prevent potential loss of future
money. The BIG12 has experienced losing good teams repeatedly and is planning to remain relevant should it happen again.
Hope the B12 remains relevant either way. Would enjoy having Boise in the B12 as a natural conference rival, but think the move would be at least short term a money losing proposition for the B12 as a whole. May be money neutral for BYU, because it would reduce travel costs and might increase ticket sales for BYU specifically.
