Obviously no one knows. He could certainly be retained but
if I had to guess I would doubt it. I’m going to guess she hires spouse Trent as an assistant (I think same situation as Gonzaga WBB where male spouse is assistant coach) and retains Stewart ( or hires a female coach.
If cummard wants to coach it wouldn’t be hard to find a position. There are hundreds and hundreds of coaching positions when you consider not just DIV 1 but all divisions as well as junior colleges.
And a reminder for those bemoaning the fact that Cummard wasn’t hired. He’s been an assistant coach for a mens team for 1 year and had 3 years as an assistant for a womens team.

If Cummard takes this as a slap in the face, then he needs to reset his expectations. Was he in the running, hopefully.
