years. You hire a coach thinking they will be around much longer than that.
I have no idea if the new coach will be good, have no info about her or other candidates, but you don’t take the input of current players into your decision (or very little at the most, if at all). They will be gone soon enough. It’s about the culture and plan that the new coach will build and implement.
