It seems like more people are using the drought as a reason to not reasonably take care of their property. I walk my dog on multiple routes around relatively nice neighborhoods in my area on a nearly daily basis and there seems to be more properties not being even minimally taken care of. I understand keeping the watering down but I see a number of lawns that probably haven't been mowed this year and are overrun with weeds. I know some are letting lawns or part of lawns die in preparation for xeriscaping but not all.
