We don't know how profitable Pac12 will be, lets not pretend like we know.
What we do know is Pac12 strengths include
#1) The non-revenue sports have been Pac12 Bread and butter, they do very well.
#2) Donations to the schools, I think Stanford alone gets more donations than the Big12 combined. Overall as long as the Pac12 blue bloods keeps their (mostly liberal) Alumni base happy, they get more from 1 year of alumni donations than 10 years of TV/Ticket revenues.
#3) Stability, due to geography and similarity between all the California schools as well as Washington as instutions, when looking at it holistically, the Pac12 is very stable. Compare with the Big12, and lets face it. . . UCF and West Virginia would probably jump to the ACC in a heart beat.

So while the value and strength of their revenue sports has been atrocious the last two seasons (and I am talking really bad as I think some G5 leagues looked better), the Pac12 has a lot of upside and strength.
(Pac12 March Madness in 2021 was surprisingly good, but that doesn't make up for the crap show seen everywhere else.)
