This. Have seen both sides. Some kids really respond well when a parent is the
coach. And sometimes it's just better to acknowledge that the relationship is most important and that the athlete will develop better under someone else.
Different for everyone, but takes lots of self-awareness for all involved to work out well

If I were a coach I would 100% not want to coach my own kid. I would leverage whatever I could to get the best
