I got a huge chunk of change from selling my house. My family is still living paycheck to paycheck, but then on top of that, we got this big bit. We operate basically at 0. Nothing extra to invest, and not spending more than we make. So my only investment money would be this. I am going to put a chunk of it, maybe 20k into savings, and the rest I was going to follow the passive investing advice from the Intelligent Investor. Find a index fund and invest 65% in stocks, and 35% in bonds and not really worry about it.
