Lubbock has at least 6 that I could find through a Google search. And in the same post listed brands that carry collegiate lines and Texas Tech is included in every one (Baylor, West Virginia, and Oklahoma State are also popular "brands" according to these companies).

I have been to the Texas panhandle and honestly don't understand the petty behavior some have towards Lubbock.

I don't mind Houston, either, and I think they will be a team to watch in football in the new B12 rising to the top.

That said, for whatever it's worth, I would rather us tied with K State and Iowa State just because it makes more sense although not a popular opinion.
