Presumably, which is one reason I had the note at the end

Obviously it's not only that (see the huge discrepancy between Texas and West Virginia or between Oregon and Oregon St despite being on the same conference TV deals), but I'd guess that plays a major role.

If anything, the relative ordering with the conferences should provide some insight
