If Lloyd Christmas were holding a snowball in the middle of hades riding on a
flying pig, even he would say there is no chance Utah gets a Big10 invite. Do you know how much money they would have to bring to the table to increase the per share payout to all 16-17 other schools in the Big10? The 16 schools are going to be getting like $100M per. Utah would have to add more than like $116M+ to the TV contract. No way.

Why would Big Ten be willing to lose money in order to invite Utah. Utah doesn't make the pie bigger

Killing off the ACC makes the pie bigger because it gets rid of that TV deal and there's more money to spread around
