I don't think this analysis was the analysis done by the Big 12 for a few reasons

• If so, it wouldn't be openly distributed
• It wouldn't focus as much on non-starter options (like relegation within the Big 12 and other conferences...Big12 can't exactly dictate that the SEC must do that)
• It would have more inside info

It's mostly just a gathering of lots of data and reports from elsewhere and then putting that info on various charts.  Which is good for what it is, but lacks any real inside info or insight.  Notably, it puts a TON of weight on academics and non-football sports, which is clearly NOT how the Big 12 decided. This analysis had Rice as the 2nd best option for expansion....

So ultimately, I think it was just an analyst taking a chance to gather and present some numbers on a topic of interest and get his firm out there.
