BYU is going to get screwed again

If the decision was simply metrics based then I’d like our chances as we compare

Best situation would be...

All the new additions have to be nervous with that scenario.

IMHO the older schools would have to worry as well. Tradition is gone, money

Not really. There are original B12 schools that would likely be left out in that scenario and

3 of the new schools just shelled out huge exit fees. If I were them, I’d be

Maybe the ACC could be convinced to take a couple of the Eastern teams.

That would be the best way to compete with the SEC/B1G, but is brutal.

The worst part is that no school outside those 2 conferences will ever be able

One reason the new big 12 might be the safest is that there are no superstars

Reason 1…and it’s all that matters…

They would take the name of one of the current conferences to avoid that issue
BYU '80

Then it's tough to be able to remove teams from the conference...

Exactly. Remember the origins of the MWC…

So here's a question (with lots of background, sorry...)

I don’t like this option because the PAC members would try to keep us out

The Big 12 does own the name of Big16

If you have 16 or 18 teams, only 12 of them are in the "Big" category. It
