But my group at the small company had gone from about 20 down to 2 (me and my boss). Funding got cut again and I had no vacation left (had burned it all during other furloughs) so they laid me off so I could at least start collecting unemployment. I didn't even qualify for unemployment since it takes a full week off to qualify in my state. Got called back and I found a new job within a month because I just couldn't live that life anymore.
