Milk - Do you use on last day of expiration date?

My wife says it is still good until the day after like the milk automatically sours at the stroke of midnight.

I refuse to use on the last day. I have my standards and I am willing to stand alone if needed.

The date's only a guideline. Smell it to find out if it's actually bad or not.

When our milk is near or at the expiration date, I pour some in a glass and smell and/or taste it. Don't judge...

‘Best by’ does not man ‘expiration’. Just a potential not to taste ideal
