I could see the P12 hanging on until the next round of realignment. But I suspect that their TV deals will have a lot of contingencies (e.g., if UO or UW leave, the contract is renegotiated) that will make their existence brittle.

Actually Navigate's research had the PAC 12 and Big 12 numbers very close, but that included USC and UCLA with the PAC
