I've had similar situations that paid a lot more. We had to pay a guy who would
literally take naps on company time. On Camera. Go into a storage room, lay down and snooze for an hour. EVERY DAY. ON THE CLOCK. Mind you this was an hourly non-exempt employee. This was just ONE of many reasons we let him go.

He won a settlement because he was a minority and Sr leadership didn't want the "optics" a full lawsuit could bring to the organization in these racial sensitive times.

At what point does a company just take a stand for what is right?

And what message does that send to the rest of the organization and those others you are trying to hold accountable?
