...both Fouss and AAA have tremendous length and athleticism but Timme is so skilled in the post that I think he'll school those guys pretty easily. The Zags got a transfer from LSU (Efton Reid 7ft 240 lbs) who was a pretty highly rated recruit out of HS (5 star #24 ranked player nationally) but was just a rotation player at LSU (avg 6.3 pts and 4.3 rebs) and isn't a dynamic defender or rim protector. He could turn into something more at Gonzaga.

The rest of the roster is solid but not as dynamic as in years past. Neither Hickman nor Sallis are very good outside shooters (Sallis kind of avoids taking 3's), Bolton is a good all around player and a very good 3pt shooter. Strawther is a good all around player too and a decent 3pt shooter. All in all though this team with Timme as the one star doesn't seem as overall talented or dynamic as the past several seasons.

We don't really know what we have collectively as a team at BYU with all the new guys but I think we've really upgraded our roster and will be able to put some disruptive lineups on the floor. On paper the Zags are the best team in the WCC but they don't have the stud PG they've enjoyed the past few seasons with Nembhard or the lottery pick in Holmgren to run their offense through and take pressure off of the other players. If teams start to double down on Timme and make him give up the ball they don't have the shooters on the perimeter to make teams pay. Might see the Zags get caught off-guard a little more often this season.
