I get it, but first, it's 0.014% of US, which is 1.75% of all deaths
(0.8% US death rate each year). But 40-50k deaths by suicide each year (125 each day) are still too many. Yes, the point of the OP is that teens are only 6% of that but it's something tragic and can be greatly reduced with help.
Having struggled helping a family member through this (luckily not losing them), it's very personal and hard for me to brush it aside because it's 'effectively zero' because 'the 1' counts and impacts many, many people.
