Done it for many years. I've been blessed recently and upped some expenses, so I'd have to curtail some unnecessary
luxuries (older car, less streaming services, less trips, etc), but it truthfully wouldn't be that hard to "get back" to where $100k is more than enough to be comfortable.
It's more of an expression of how much I've let my spending get out of hand since I've had a bit of means than it is an expression of how "little" $100k is (because it's not).
