My apologies. Simply was saying in some areas it’s incredibly difficult to live “comfortably” with 100k a year.
I know friends in Northern California who make 300k a year and are still struggling with small apartments for their family and share a vehicle. It is crazy how expensive everything is. So 100k they would be basically living on the streets.
For some areas like south or Midwest, 100k would feel like living like a king. I lived in Midwest and budgeted off of 40k a year at the time. I could not do that where I live now.
