Need advice: 80 yo mom with worsening dementia. Are there services to help ?
-Mom doesn’t recognize/acknowledge the dementia.
-Worsening relations with kids.
-Need to move her toward assisted living (currently on her own)
-Need to get her license taken away (had a bad accident on Tuesday. Totaled 2 cars and close to causing fatality)
Looking for coaching how to break the news of dementia, how to transition to assisted living, get cops involved to get her license revoked, …and the 500 things that gotta happen in the next few months.
We don’t know what we don’t know, and we’re (kids) probably approaching it too late.
