Zach Morris I stand with #3. RIP Lennay Hi
It’s a frustrating yet common game played in sales organizations. Not all but most organizations want to place the goal
Post just far enough away and close enough to where around 60% hit the mark. If you see that north of 60% hit that mark, then you can almost guarantee that most organizations will simply move the goal post further. These organizations love to tout “uncapped commissions” but they never mention that they just move the mark far enough that they rarely worry about paying out significant commissions for those who blow out their quota.

Some companies are wise enough to know that allowing their sales org to be paid well, keeps them happy and committed long term while others deal with a constant revolving door where seasoned sales employees are constantly leaving due to the company manipulating quotas and payouts the way they do.
