Even though the recent racist allegations against BYU fans were proven false, I could see BYU being careful and just not
reaching out to him.
What he did was wrong. I don't believe he was ever racist - just out of touch and naive to what he was doing. I do respect that he had made attempts to make things as right as he could including owning up to it and coaching at an HBCU to maybe gain some more perspective.
