conference has a spot I believe that over time it will level the playing field, if only slightly. Players want to play for something. This means that players at small schools could go there knowing they have a chance to play for something. This could help schools like Boise State. They can say, we won our conference and advanced to X round in the CFP. Just like in Basketball teams recruit/market off of success in March Madness. You still have major powerhouses in basketball, and that won't change in football, but it will open the opportunity for a school like Boise State to amplify what they've done over the years and become more like Gonzaga in Basketball.
