An endowment to also maintain it in perpetuity can also be frustrating. I get it though. BYU didn’t build the basketball training facility until not only the facility was paid for but also its maintenance.

It’s a conservative philosophy that will enable BYU to weather the storm of financial pressure that will probably affect some universities/programs ability to survive.
