Only hit 375. We squat everyday but I skipped the workout today. I’ll hit the 400 while I’m 40.
We were doing 3 set of 3 at 85% of our Max with a 1 second pause. I decide last week I would push myself and act as though my Max were already 400 and adjust my %s accordingly. It was fine when I had to only do 2 normal reps 85% and then decrease my weight and increase reps last week. But this week we kept it at 85% and my brain kept telling me it was a bad idea and my pride took over. The last rep on the last set I bent over too much and as I lifted the last little bit it was all back. Stupid.
I will try this belt thing though. Thanks for letting know about it.
