Not sure. He told me about his lack of recruitment from BYU over a game of pool.
Honestly, UVU never came up. He is a GREAT guy though and would have been a great addition to the team. I know his family was really bummed, but they are great supporters and cheer him all the way.
(Secretly, when USU played BYU last year, I was cheering in the stadium every time Steven made a good play. I was still cheering for the Cougs, but I gotta cheer for my guy.)
