Decades ago I was brought into the Church thru the old LDS youth bball league.
That is all a thing of the past now, regrettably.
Suburban kids of any faith seem less sports oriented today than in the 70s and 80s. I guess gaming has taken over, but the Church athletic pipeline at the grass roots level is a shadow of it former self.

Carlson didn’t want to wait behind Childs again. He did that in highschool and that’s why he went to Utah.
