How cold is too cold for a winter campout for Priests?
Going to a mountain pass that's only 5200 feet high.
Plenty of trees to block the wind.
High of 28 and low of 15 through the night.
5 inches of new snow anticipated.
Would you as a parent say nope?

If you're prepared, and they are, it's fine. I've camped at even colder. The preparation is key, though
