Do you think McHale & Bird "occupied the same area" any worse

than Kessler or Vando occupy Lauri's?

Depending on what type of players they can get, the Jazz can successfully run Lauri as either a 3 or a 4 alongside Kessler, imo.

And win a championship either way.

Just like I believe the Celts could've won championships w Bird as either a 3 or a 4 alongside a 5 like Parrish. When they landed a star PF in McKale — Bird naturally moved to 3. If they'd landed say, a Clyde Drexler — Bird would have done it as a 4.

That's the sorta versatility I see in Lauri Markkennen.
