I think Lauri could certainly play a 3 if he's matched w the right

surrounding players.

If you match him with an athletic 4 --either a really long or strong 4-- I think Lauri certainly works as as a 3 w Kessler at the 5.

If he's playing w Vando, it's probably Vando who's best-served covering the 3, & Lauri the 4. (Though Vando has some of the best defensive versatility in the league, & can definitely cover the 4 for you in certain lineups.)
