I feel like you could say this about every team; if they add a few stars, they could be title contenders

The Hornets would say they have a championship core

1. Ball
2. PJ Washington
3. Kelly Oubre Jr
4. James Bouknight (not necessarily a starter)

or

the Rockets with Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Kevin Porter Jr, and Jabari Smith

EVERY team in the NBA has at least 4 or 5 players (in total) that could play in the 9 man rotation for a championship team, especially if you're optimistic about development.

Saying we have 5 guys you could see at that level isn't meaningful.
