My dad was the HP group leader for Ray Noorda and Drew Major in Orem.
They came to him about investing 100k in a computer file sharing program called Novell in about 1982.
My dad turned them down. They came to me and asked if I wanted to invest, but I only had about 50K.
The investment would have been worth 100 million by 1995.
