I turned down a job offer
at what was a Series A at the time. Didn't think the equity was large enough for what they were wanting me to do (start a new department) and didn't think the projections they were showing were accurate.
Turns out, a few venture rounds later, my equity would be worth almost $1M right now. I had to block any news from that company from showing on my LinkedIn feed.
