You don’t think attention to detail matters, and that precise uniform wear is a
valid way of teaching it? Someone should tell the Marine Corps (or any other military branch).

They could make basic training so much more effective if they stopped focusing on those types of things that don’t matter (like uniform wear, marching in formation, PT drills, etc) and instead worried about other stuff.
