know which ones you would decide to include or exclude. The definition is probably the first thing to establish.
Are we talking about the simple definition?: A person who is overly self-involved, and often vain and selfish/a person who has an excessive interest in or admiration of themselves.
Are we talking about the disorder?: A personality disorder characterized by extreme self-centeredness and self-absorption, fantasies involving unrealistic goals, an excessive need for attention and admiration, and disturbed interpersonal relationships.
You are wanting it to all focus on that last line. I would say, maybe you are right in that regard, but the public eye sure presents a lot of examples of everything up to that point. I am sure he is not the same guy he was 20-30 years ago, but he still provides examples of believing it's all about him. (Recently telling the room to clap for him because he thought his little speech was good sure did not help me believe the old Prime is gone).
I am all for seeing people succeed (though losing recruiting battles to him makes me want him to do it somewhere besides close proximity to BYU) and grow (both of which he has done), but I see narcistic tendencies that will always bug me. I am not trying to diagnose him here, but let's not act like that word is totally off base.
