and essentially a team didn't get ANY consideration unless you were Top 25. BYU getting into bowl games each year was a big deal...just ask a Ute fan... if they tell you it wasn't then you can rest assured that it was.

BYU hanging commemorative banners for an accomplishment for being one of the premier teams in CFB isn't odd in and of itself at all...but with the dilution of the bowl season in this day and age, I'd be fine if they did away with them on the stadium wall at this point.

The fact still remains that BYU has as many Rose Bowl wins as Utah does and double the National Championships...
