P5s are about tough road games. BYU did great in 2021 vs. the Pac. Major props. I rooted for BYU most games. But

they were close games and no real tough road venues. Maybe USC.

If the Pac sucks, BYU still got smoked in Eugene and hasn't won in SLC since 2006. The trip to Waco didn't inspire confidence.

I hope BYU does well, but mocking short-handed Utah's performances against 2 top 7 teams sans Rising at the end, sets the expectation of 10+ wins, NY bowl...and a win there...or bust.

Looking at the road games, Fort Worth, Austin, Stillwater, wherever Arkansas is and Morgantown. I can see BYU winning vs. KU and over .500 at home. Not sure any of those road games are gimmes though.

...just not seeing a path to a NY bowl. Hope I'm wrong.
