I may have lucked into that very scenario. I bought a brand new 2020 Mustang GT
in February 2021. The car was built on December 3, 2020. (Production was shifted that year because of Covid.) Got it for just over $40,000. Leather, top level wheels and stereo. I didn't want some of the features that were becoming standard in 2021, so that is why I hurried to buy a 2020 model. Just lucky timing, because a few months later prices skyrocketed.
