what he is. Really I think with some of these guys it's as simple as just watching them move around on tape and see what skills they might have, being confident in your ability to develo,p and and then giving them the minutes to see what happens.

UVU has been good at this under two different staffs now. Remember Isaac Neilsen? Dude looked ok at BYU, but he was a nice player that next year at UVU. Baylee Steele, Manyang...both under Pope. Then Fardaws and Aziz under Madsen. To me, the only difference is Pope doesn't have to look through everybody anymore. If you're in play for Matt Haarms, Mac McClung, and Antoine Davis....you clearly are somewhat of a player in the portal. Not the complete upper-tier obviously....but high enough that you probably aren't spending much time evaluating Akron's bench players.
