The CFP, Polls and recruits seem to agree.
Why was a 4-loss Utah team ranked so much higher than 4-loss Kansas State? Also higher than 3-loss Clemson / FSU?
Why is Utah out recruiting a TX based conf the last 2-3 years?
Despite losing key talent, polls like this have Utah ranked higher than any other new Big 12 team. Seems like Utah would be considered a top contender right away.
That’s compared to the top of the big 12. Now take a long look at the other candidates: CU, SDSU, AZ or ASU.
Not delusional to see there’s a huge perception gap right now.
