You missed the point. They lost them, but still stayed relevant.

Of course they'd take them back. Just like the P12 would love USC and UCLA back. Question is, with those losses, will the P12 stay together and relevant for the leftovers? If 2 more leave, they are DOA. B12 leftovers lost 6 top schools and hung in there.
