That's fine, I suppose I agree with that. It just doesn't surprise me.
The vast majority of the world doesn't think highly of our religion (if they think anything at all about it). I'm not surprised at all that a bunch of people living in the epicenter of the church have some vocal opinions about it. They see our beliefs as superstitious, detached from reality, and likely harmful. They take our beliefs as seriously as someone who believes in a flat earth. I'm not speaking of Ute fans - I'm speaking of non-members in general. I think sometimes we forget that. Seeing it from their lens makes our beliefs easily mockable.
