When we were at Normandy we basically had a guide to ourselves.. I asked
him if he sees lots of German tourists and how they respond. He said it’s shocking to them and so sobering as they learn about D-Day.
Can’t help but step lightly as you are there given that the direction of our planet was shaped by the sacrifice of so many in such a short period of time on the very ground you are walking on.
