Study shows large healthcare companies (not physician owned) cost more and deliver the same and often lower quality health care. Right now you have administrators running things. If the physicians want to change something to make it run smoother it has to go through committee after committee and the physician has to spend hours of their time and often it won’t get approved. If the physicians owned the hospital and didn’t like what was going on they could fire the administrator. But as of right now you have business men making healthcare decisions. Makes no sense. One step to fixing healthcare is to fix that (physicians should be able to own hospitals)
(Technically not illegal but they won’t get paid by Medicare and Medicaid so not sustainable)
