I don’t hate my lawyer
I don’t hate anyone, including the landlord and his wife.
My attorney did make a costly strategic mistake which significantly reduced the leverage I have and made my life more difficult. But I don’t hate the guy.
I’ll share more details eventually but suffice it to say that all I want is for the landlord to perform and honor the lease and let me operate my business in peace. They are doing everything they can to not honor the lease and to evict me. Why they want to evict me will become clear with a few details that I won’t share at this time.
I have ~$1mil in TI tied to the lease. I’d love to walk away but (a) space is limited and (b) that’s a lot of money to just walk away from.
