Our peers from the 90s WAC, 2000s MWC, bottom of the Pac 12 or mid-tier Pac-12?
I don't know of any program that has passed more of their peers than Utah the last 30 years.
We're to the point now where BYU fans mock Utah for not being on par with major blue blood programs that have exponentially more history, talent, resources, money — in the most lopsided, top heavy sport in the world.
Most people like the underdog, overachiever story. Utah has a lot of respect outside the state. BYU fans would be surprised how well regarded the program is. NFL, pundits, other coaches, ADs.
Even BYU HC, OC, DC...all hail from the KW coaching tree.
